Welcome to our school!

Since 2000, the school is working on projects, so our students have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular and extracurricular activities to reflect on their free time to develop their creative interests and talents, to engage the imagination and skills to develop physical , intellectual and personal.
With work on the projects we promote the traditions of Bulgarian education in the process of building a value system and continue to build the image of a modern school, which has long been put to the European measure yourself for training, education and marketing to those who have chosen .

Project "Prevention against child labor, prostitution and trafficking of children". The main objective is reducing the risk of forced prostitution, child labor and unbearable traffic in children from risk groups in the region of Rousse. Proclaimed "creative Asoshieyt International" (Washington). Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The project has several main sub-objectives:

  • Massive awareness campaign among the youth, parents, teachers, students, local institutions about the dangers of prostitution and trafficking in children;
  • Retention in school of young people from vulnerable groups, through extracurricular activities and summer program;
  • Participation of regional center "of the UN Club in my school through clubs PGIU Elias Canetti Ruse and MG" Baba Tonka "Ruse as parents, students, teachers and members of the public participate in role-plays, meetings, discussions on issues that excite them.

The second phase of the project was under the name "Peer Advocates for Rights of the Child, which may help them to know, seek and defend their rights.

  • The children were guided through successive search and the discovery of self-image, considering the place of family, friends circle;
Project "Act now" - prevention of dropping out of school principal objective is to prevent early school children, encouraging local and national level integration of vulnerable and minority groups in Bulgaria. Funded by: European Community and the PHARE Civil Society Development in 2002. The aim is calls, lessons learned, distributed leaflets to children by their families fall into. Training program ended with a media campaign and contest "I paint children's rights.
Project “Civics sum”

Work on the project "Civics sum" directed extracurricular activities in high school to the formation of active citizenship among students, teachers and parents. Built a club I am a citizen with 3 sections

In section I am a citizen of the world have developed thematic work plans of the Department held a poll to explore the views and interests of students, has furnished room in civic education. Training was conducted with the students educational and educational nature. Concrete expression of this activity is the method "peer education" which applies to all high school classes - (53 trainers);

In section I am a citizen of Europe involved 60 students from the vocal group, dance ensemble and artistic - creative composition. Great interest and admiration led to performances of dance group formation and artistic speech. Validation of the Bulgarian national traditions and education in respect and reverence the eternity of the customs and holidays in Bulgaria is at the core of the group by word art, dance and ensemble vocal group. Joint sessions of groups of music, visual speech, dance ensemble, students and parents have proved extremely useful in the preparation and conduct of the Christmas celebration in December 2007, which included competitions, which involved students, teachers and parents for Christmas presentation of traditional Christmas and New Year's dish survaknitsa, Christmas card, Christmas decoration of a classroom, a traditional Christmas concert.

Dance group formation and artistic speech in high school welcomed representatives from 11 European countries (England, France, Italy, Belgium, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Romania) in the project 'European school partnerships through non-violent civic education. The execution attracted great interest and admiration of the guests.

In section I participated in business 52 students
During the academic year 2007/2008 four new training firm started its operation and four more are preparing for it. Educational training companies organized and prepared to participate in the International Fair of TF, which was held on 14 and 15 March 2008 in Plovdiv.

Project "With care for every student "

During the 2007/2008 school year two of our students participated in the National Olympiad in history and civilization, and one ranked tenth in Philosophy.
Opportunity to prepare new entrants for events this year, allows you to preserve and continue the tradition in high school.
Teaching students in the subjects of civic education cycle increased motivation for inclusion in national and Olympic events. Helps to educate students in active citizenship, which is a prerequisite for building civil society in Bulgaria.
The main objectives are to provide training and performance of talented students to participate in the School Olympics, to establish, develop and continue the tradition of active participation of students and teachers in the National Olympiads, to develop and implement innovative pedagogical approaches in teaching, training and education of students in accordance with the concept for the development of Bulgarian education.

The "With care for every student" continues in the 2009-2010 with additional training in philosophy.
Project "My uniform, a sign of pride and ownership" - in design and introduction of school uniform in PGIU Elias Canetti - Ruse.
Project "My uniform 2" - making school uniforms for new recruits students for the academic 2009-2010 year.
Project "Traditions continuous"- issued a brochure to promote the history, activities and achievements of PGIU "Elias Canetti" - Ruse in 125 years education of economic.

Participation in an educational project for sustainable energy and climate change - SPARE - Course in 2009 - 2010 year.
